The Quantum World
|
What is it? Go Physics is a new pilot series of online courses aimed at high school students in grade 11 and 12 with a keen interest in physics. Over the course of six weeks, students can work at their own pace to complete the activities. Participants can expect to delve into the mysterious and weird world of teeny, tiny atoms - the first in a two-part series of courses. In The Quantum World, topics will include what quantum particles are and how they behave, quantum interpretations and the latest quantum technologies. Students will discuss conceptual questions, participate in interactive, online activities, try a variety of experiments at home, and receive feedback from the course instructors. Students will have the opportunity to discuss conceptual questions with peers from around the world.
When is it? Monday, March 7 - Friday, April 15, 2016
