Professor and students
Not sure which university program is right for you? Spend a day with a student in our engineering faculty to experience Carleton’s supportive campus, engaging classes, and life at university. Your student mentor can answer your questions, share his or her experiences, and help make choosing what or where to study a little easier.
You’ll be paired with an engineering student committed to maintaining our inclusive, comfortable, and safe environment who will
  • guide you through his or her day of lectures, laboratories, and tutorial sessions
  • take you for a free lunch in our all-you-can-eat Residence dining hall
  • answer your questions about campus and academics
You’ll also meet a representative from the Faculty who can answer engineering and admissions questions.
To start your mentoring process, please fill out the forms below, and have your teacher/guidance counsellor fax or scan and email them to us. Both forms must be completed before a student can be paired with a mentor. If you would like more information you can call, 613-520-2600 ext. 2020 or emailEngineeringOutreach@carleton.ca for more details.

First Post of the 2015-2016 School Year!

Welcome back to all of our gifted learners! On Friday September 18th students were given a letter to take home welcoming them back to school and discussing some of the ideas we have for enrichment opportunities for our students this year. We will be meeting in room S103 on Friday September 25th to catch up. The students will be given a letter and permission form with the dates of our N.A.C. enrichment opportunities for this year. Our grade 10 students submitted their first Civics assignment and are working away.
